“Textures in Materials: The Value of Chemistry”: Federico Piccinini’s presentation at the “Ceramics of Value” event

On Tuesday, October 17th, Smaltochimica’s CEO, Federico Piccinini, took part in the event “Ceramics of Value” organized by Ceramic World Review and Ceramic World Web, in collaboration with ACIMAC, with a presentation entitled “Textures in Materials: The Value of Chemistry.”

During the event, held at the Florim Gallery in Fiorano Modenese, industry experts and professionals gathered to explore the importance of new technologies and material choices in the development of innovative ceramic surfaces.

Federico Piccinini’s presentation examined several improvements integrated into Smaltochimica’s production processes, emphasizing the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and eco-compatibility of products.

Targeted at product development managers, laboratory technicians, technical directors, plant managers, and energy managers, the meeting showcased a promising future for the ceramic industry, illustrating how technological innovation and materials can enhance product value and offer improved technical qualities, aesthetics, and more sustainable solutions.

The “Ceramics of Value” event marked the first of a series of three conferences within the “makeinitaly days” initiative, promoted by ACIMAC, UCIMA, and AMAPLAST, which delved into other crucial themes such as Digital Transformation and Servitization in the manufacturing industry.
