On 22 and 23 May, Smaltochimica took part in COLLECTIO 2026, the international event organised by Colorobbia with the support of Colorobbia Vietnam, held at the Sheraton Hotel in Da Nang.
Following the editions in Ho Chi Minh, Bali, and Bangkok, COLLECTIO returned to Vietnam, confirming its role as a key event for the ceramic industry in the Far East. The event brought together partner companies, Italian suppliers, and professionals for two days dedicated to discussing and exploring the sector’s new directions.
For Smaltochimica, it was an important opportunity to meet different players across the ceramic supply chain and gather valuable insights for its research path. The various discussion moments highlighted topics closely connected to companies’ daily work, from pursuing more efficient processes to the need for increasingly sustainable solutions.
The theme chosen for the 2026 edition, “Shaping the Future: Italian Innovation & Sustainability”, placed a vision of growth based on innovation and sustainability at the centre of the event. Today, innovating means developing solutions that improve processes and create long-term value, while also building a more conscious relationship with materials, the environment, and the people who contribute every day to the evolution of the sector.
We return from Da Nang with new ideas and with the confirmation that the most effective solutions always begin with listening. COLLECTIO 2026 was a valuable opportunity to explore the future of ceramics together with those who face change in the field every day.
